Legend 2.0

A software application that will get your pictures stuck together Have You seen those huge photos that are made of smaler pictures stuck together?
Legend application will create that kind of photos for you! Just provide the main photo and a folder with many photos.
How to operate it:
- Drag and Drop a picture on the main picture text field. (the three text fields are support drag and drop) This will be the picture that you will see when you look at the output picture form a distance.
- Drag and Drop a folder on the second textfield. Legend will use every picture (jpg bmp gif) in this folder and all its subdirectories for the mosaic.
- Drag and Drop a folder on the third textfield. Thats where the output picture will be stored. If you need you can change the values of the next two textfields. The small pictures of the mosaic (source pictures) will have this size.
- Sub-grid factor. This is a little complicated to explain. The bigger it is, the best the results legend will provide and the more RAM it will use. A value of 2 was the standard of the older version of Legend. Now you can set your own. I normally use 5 or 10 for my images. But not more.
- The Cheat factor... Well leaving it to auto and normal is the best thing to do. If you do not want to cheat then uncheck the Auto checkbox an type a big and round zero in the now-enabled textfield. The cheat factor will do a small mix of the colors of the source pictures with the part of the main picture they are replacing. This will improve the output picture a lot. Dont abuse it though.
- Select either the classic algorithm where only the best picture will be used for every part of the main picture or the new (as for version 2.0) non-deterministic algorithm which may produce better results. Of course it will be a little bit harder to set-up this new algorithm.
- Select an output size. The output pictures dimensions will be calculated by multiplying this number with the dimensions of the main picture.
- Click START!
