Oriens JPEG2000 is a productivity and automation platform to generate high quality optimized image documents with the new JPEG2000 format. The application supports more than 60 image documents and integrates a full-featured inbuilt editor to perform editing and enhancing operations on your raw image files before documents are generated. These operations can vary from basic tools such as resize, crop, rotate, flip, canvas etc., to complicated, but visually enhancing tools such as adding frame, shadow, mask, watermark, text etc. You can resample, turn and reflect your images, change their brightness and contrast, trim edges or, conversely, add extra border, smooth your images or increase their sharpness, place semi-transparent logotype, etc. All editing tasks performed on a candidate image, if added to task basket, can be used to automatically perform the same operations on a collection of raw image files, thereby increasing turnaround time and productivity. Batch process group of raw images with selected editing tasks and employ diverse renaming techniques to output files using information from metadata (EXIF/IPTC) or from the physical properties of the resulting/source image, or simply from the properties of the source file.
With these processed images, you have an option to create single-page JPG, JPEG2000, GIF, PNG, PSD, TIFF, PDF, PCX, WBMP, or process group of files into JPEG2000 format in a single-click (batch mode). Alternatively, you can generate a screensaver, a self-executable slideshow, or greeting image which triggers special effects on user action, all on the fly. Image metadata such as EXIF and IPTC can be edited, or created entirely new. EXIF and IPTC metadata can be exported to a .XIFF file and .FFO file and the same can be imported to any image. In batch mode, while saving to single-page files, the user has an option to import saved EXIF/IPTC metadata to all the resulting images of the image basket.
Oriens JPEG2000 Professional also supports twain devices such as digital cameras, scanners, webcams etc. Single or multiple images can be acquired and directed to disk or to the image basket for generating documents and processing . A capture utility is also included in the application fully integrated. A whole screen or a custom re-adjustable region i.e, the desktop or the foreground or the background window can be captured for inclusion in image basket, which in turn, is used to generate different types of documents.
