PicViewPlus is a picture file display program that offers you unequaled capabilities. While there are literally dozens of similar "slide show" programs available, no other program gives you such a wide range of features combined with ease of use.
PicViewPlus achieves its ease of use by concentrating on features that you want when displaying a set of picture files. By design, it omits complicated and confusing features associated with picture editing, such as "red eye" adjustment, as these editing tasks are best handled by commercial picture editing programs (such as Adobe Photoshop Elements). Instead, its full emphasis is on giving you the all the features you need to maximize your picture viewing enjoyment.
Main features:
- Display the most common picture file types: BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF, and WMF
- Navigate easily from picture-to-picture
by buttons: First, Next(1-10,25,50), Previous(1-10,25,50), and Last
by keys: Home, Spacebar, Backspace, and End
by thumbnail picture selection
- Resize the picture window to a height and width of your choice
Zoom via the mouse, keyboard, or keypad
Zoom In/Out at any picture point you click on
Zoom In to a rectangular area you specify
Fill the viewing window with the entire picture
Set the Zoom factor to exactly 1.0
- Pan around a zoomed-in view using the mouse, keyboard, or keypad
Center the view on a point via a mouse shift-left-click or right-click
Use the keypad to pan in 8 different directions
Use the arrow keys to pan in 4 different directions
- Use the Thumbnails Window (thumbnail-sized pictures) to assist you
Quickly visually review an entire folder of pictues
Select the next picture to display by clicking its Thumbnail image
Resize and/or reposition the Thumbnails Window as you wish
Select from among three thumbnail sizes
Easily change the display order by re-arranging the Thumbnail images

- Automatically advance pictures ("slide show" mode)
Specify the "show time" in seconds
One-time showing, or endless loop
Begin at any picture in the folder, not only the first
- Play audio files having file types WAV, MP3, MID, or WMA
Picture audio - each picture can have an associated audio file that plays when the picture shows
Background audio - one or more audio files can be designated to play in the background, whenever picture audio isnt playing
Picture and background audio can be enabled or disabled
- Select a new picture folder to view at any time
- Select a picture folder from a list of previously viewed folders (e.g., like Internet Explorers Favorites)
- Enable or disable many program features via the Preferences window
- Select pictures to be displayed based upon their picture tag content
If a picture tag is present
If a picture tag and a substring within it are present
Up to three of the above picture tag conditions
- Include Picture frames: Choose from among dozens of available picture frames. Or, design and add your own!
- Print your pictures: Choose a page layout that contains from 1 to 20 pictures per page, where each picture can be oriented and clipped, along with its own caption and picture frame
- Re-orient pictures: Flip X, Flip Y, Rotate 90 degrees CW or CCW
- Enable picture transition effects
- Preserve your preferences & window positions between program runs
- Attach your caption and/or picture frame specification to the picture file, enabling each picture to have its own caption and/or picture frame
- Hide all the Command buttons for more picture display area
- Hide/Show the picture captions (without changing them)
- Display an operation tip upon program startup and/or every 10 pictures
- Visually choose your own picture and caption box "wallpaper"
