RefCon Rx is an ARX plugin for AutoCAD 2000 and later versions which will give AutoCAD users the power to perform essential mapping functions without leaving the AutoCAD environment. RefCon Rx features widely acclaimed georeferencing and format conversion capabilities, dynamic cursor display in any coordinate system, latitude and longitude graticule display, automatic update of attributes that carry location information, and a rubber sheeting function based on a triangulated irregular network, allowing every control point picked to be honored exactly.
RefCon Rx is an ideal program for surveyors, engineers, cartographers, and other professionals that use AutoCAD or AutoCAD Map for their day-to-day mapping needs. RefCon Rx does NOT require AutoCAD MAP. It can co-exist with any version of AutoCAD MAP without problem. RefCon Rx is available for AutoCAD 2000 or later.
RefCon Rx provides users with numerous features not available in AutoCAD MAP, including the ability to draw a lat/long graticule on a map and georeference an image that may have been moved or rubber sheeted after insertion. RefCon Rxs rubber sheeting algorithm will honor every control point precisely, no matter how many there are, and you can now morph images as well as vectors. RefCon Rx can also georeference an image which may have been morphed in the rubber sheeting process.
