Fishermans Friend was written for Anglershaven by Stefan De Beer. we wanted a program that is user friendly, low on system resources and angler friendly. Fishermans Friend is customizable and you can add your own species, sub species and even bait and dip recipes. Already updates are in the pipe lines that will make the program even more attractive for the angler.
You can add your catches with date time, distance and much more, also there is a section for you to add your favorite fishing venues or just your favorite campsites. For the creative angler a section to keep record on your different bait and dip recipes.
Fishermans Friend is freeware, and you may distribute it freely among your friends, but no altering of the core code are allowed.The only prerequisite is that you must be a registered member (for free) on the Anglershaven website and you must have a internet connection when launching the program. This is only to verify your membership. Once verified the internet connection may be disconnected.
