Decor Calc 103

Decor Calc 103 is created to be an ideal and complete software which helps you calculate quantities for paint, wallpaper, tiles, carpets and curtain fabrics so that you can estimate home improvement and decorating projects like never before!

There are no complicated menus to navigate; everything is on the screen in front of you. This desktop version is available for Windows and Mac (10.3.9 or later). Its size has been designed to fit on notebook screens.

Major Features:

1. Paint
   • Use Feet/Inches or Metric.
   • Specify how many areas of a given size.
   • Input for areas you don't want to paint, such as windows.
   • Paint quantities in Gallons or Litres.
   • Number of coats to apply.
   • Paint can size input.
   • Coverage per unit (gallon or litre) or per can size.
   • Price per can.
   • Results: total quantity required and price.
2. Wallpaper
   • Use Feet/Inches or Metric.
   • Specify how many areas of a given size.
   • Input for areas you don't want to wallpaper, such as large windows.
   • Wallpaper roll sizes.
   • Pattern repeat if required.
   • Price per roll
   • Results: cuts needed, number of rolls needed and total price.
3. Tiles
   • Use Feet/Inches or Metric.
   • Specify how many areas of a given size.
   • Input for areas you don't want to tile, such as windows.
   • Tile size.
   • Percentage wastage.
   • Price per per tile or per pack (if tiles are supplied in packs)
   • Results: number of tiles or packs needed and total price.
4. Carpets
   • Use Feet/Inches or Metric.
   • Specify how many areas of a given size.
   • Percentage wastage.
   • Price per unit area.
   • Results: area needed and total price.
5. Curtains
   • Use Feet/Inches or Metric.
   • Specify width and height of track.
   • Specify width and height of window (for curtains to sill).
   • Specify width of window and distance from top of window to floor (for curtains to floor).
   • Program calculates height of track above window, track overlap left and right. All these can be adjusted.
   • Option to select Cornice box (Pelmet) or Valance.
   • Input fabric width, pattern repeat (including half drop repeat), price of fabric, hem/heading allowance, selvage/join allowance, and fullness required.
   • Results: cuts needed, total amount of fabric required and total price.
