Earth Alerts 2009 1.6

Earth Alerts 2009 1.6 is a powerful, intelligent  Windows-based application which provides alert notifications and information on all natural events currently happening anywhere in the United States (including Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).

Weather, earthquakes, and volcanos...the kind of stuff our planet dishes out to arouse human curiosity and, occasionally, fear.Fortunately for us, we have organizations like the National Weather Service and the U.S. Geological Survey to study and track Earths natural wonders, and then warn us whenever the Earth starts misbehaving!Earth Alerts is a software that provide alerts notifications about natural events.

To use Earth Alerts, you simply select the specific Locations you are interested in. The application will then automatically retrieve the latest weather, earthquake, and/or volcano information from various live data feeds on the Internet, and then present it to you.

Major Features:

1. Global activity overview: earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes, and tropical cyclones (typhoons, hurricanes, tropical storms, tropical depressions and other disturbances)

5. Google Earth™ integration provides visualizations of recent earthquake events, volcanoes, tropical cyclones, wildland fires and severe weather warnings. Google Earth™ integration also provides high resolution views of any user-selected U.S. or Global location
6. Visual and sound notifications on your Windows desktop identifying active alerts
7. Email notifications of active alerts
8. Mobile phone text message (SMS) alert notifications of active tsunami watches / warnings, magnitude 5.0+ earthquakes, major volcanic eruptions and tornado warnings

2. .NET Framework 3.5: During installation of Earth Alerts you should automatically be prompted to download/install the .NET Framework 3.5 if it doesn't currently exist on your Windows system. However, if the Earth Alerts installation process fails and/or it doesn't prompt you for the .NET Framework 3.5,. After downloading, the .NET Framework installation should only take a few minutes to complete.
