EnCalcEU 4.1

EnCalcEU 4.1 is specially created to calculate the cost of electricity, allowing both the real cost based on meter readings and forward prediction based on the readings and elapsed time.

EnCalcEU calculates the cost of electricity, allowing both the real cost based on meter readings and forward prediction based on the readings and elapsed time. The results can be saved to a log file for later analysis. The program can cope with different charging rates for electricity at different times of the day, alternative rates based on fixed or daily thresholds, varying tax rates plus fixed charges and discounts enabling most charging models to be handled. It will also calculate the amount of CO2 generated. EnCalcEU is part of the JSutils group of software utilities which have a theme of energy conservation.

The program requires a registration code to run - this can be obtained free for personal non commercial use from the Download page. Registration codes from previous versions are compatible with version 4.1.

Installation is simple just unzip the installer from the downloaded file, double click on the installer and follow the on screen instructions (when selected desktop shortcuts are installed for all users). As well as installing the program this will also install the help pages. EnCalcEU can be safely installed over previous installations. Start the program and enter the registration code to start using EnCalcEU. If the program will not work properly check out the FAQ and Release Notes for suggestions. The program needs administrator privileges to install it. When upgrading do not allow the installer to overwrite the configuration file when prompted to retain saved default values.
