LiberOne is an application oriented to the management and maintenance of a domestic library. This management and maintenance are realized of a comfortable, simple and intuitive way, reason why great knowledge of computer science for their handling are not necessary. When this library arrives at a determined number of books, in the majority of the cases becomes a computer science tool necessary, a software that helps to maintain and to manage all books.

Maintenance, because with LiberOne you can at any moment know the books that you have, how many you have, where are them, etc. Can list books of a certain subject, of a certain collection, classification, group, author or editorial.

Management, because with LiberOne you can realize an individual pursuit for each book (volume to volume, title to title), options search outpost, listed by printer, etc.

LiberOne is organized in 8 main surroundings, to facilitate the control and the management of the library. Something as well as “to contemplate books from several points of view”. These 8 surroundings are: BOOKS, LIBRARY, SUBJECTS, COLLECTIONS, CLASSIFICATIONS, GROUPS, AUTHORS and PUBLISHING HOUSES.

 You can select the language that wishes (that it will be the active language whenever the application is taken) in the window of Options - > Language.

All the processes of all the surroundings have context sensitive helps. All the possible doubts will clarify to you that the help can appear just by click of mouse.

TOOLBAR

 The toolbar has 9 buttons:

BACKUP: The backup option of LiberOne is a tool for the copy (to keep) and restoration (to recover the copy previously kept) of the data of your library.

DOCTOR LIBER: It is a dredge of the internal system of LiberOne to detect possible errors (caused, for example, by a cut of the electrical fluid at the time of a discharge process) and, where appropriate, to correct it.

OPTIONS: In the window of options is formed the way in which LiberOne will work, according to your preferences.

NOTE-BOOK: Different notes to facilitate the management and the control of the library.

ERASURES: Last contact when an element is eliminated of LiberOne. With this tool it is possible also to be known what “what you have done”.

INFO: Some points of interest for the user of LiberOne.

ABOUT LIBERONE: In this window is diverse information on LiberOne. It does not contain any operation, except the one to contact with the Web or the electronic mail of Liber.

HELP: All the help that you can need on LiberOne shows in this window, where resides all the information that you need to solve any doubt that appears to you during the sessions with LiberOne. From this button it is acceded to all the help of LiberOne, the window is opened in the surroundings (BOOKS, SUBJECTS, etc.) where you are when to press the button. However, the help of LiberOne is totally sensible to the context, reason why any button of help that you press, anywhere of the application, will show to you the context in which you are when press this button.

 EXIT: To leave LiberOne.

SURROUNDINGS

BOOKS: In the surroundings BOOKS work what it is related to the titles and volumes of the library. Previously, by all means, you have had to introduce, by means of the option “New book”, all the books of your library. This is the most laborious task of all, that, following the amount of books that you have, will have to be realized with something of time and patience (for example, to introduce a determined number of books every day) until completing all them.

When not exist books, that is to say, when is not had any title to the list of titles or when you enter to LiberOne for the first time, all the options appear deactivated (except “New book”).

LIBRARY:

  Totals of all the surroundings of LiberOne.

  The economy of books (based on the price of the books).

  Origin of books.

  Location , where are the books.

  Qualifications associated to books.

  Global data show general information of all the surroundings.

Languages allow to manage and to mantiener all the referring to the different languages of books of your library, in case there are several. 

  Countries allow to manage and to mantiener all referring to the different countries of the authors and editorials of your library.

SUBJECTS: In the surroundings SUBJECTS is everything what it is related to the different subjects that you have assigned to your books previously. Before assigning a subject for the first time to a book, you must register the subject in the option “New subject”, being located in the surroundings subjects. After this first time, to assign a title to a subject you will only have being located in the surroundings books, press the option “Assign to subject”, to select the subject that you wish of the list and press the button “Ok” of the window of assign to subject.

You can have the subjects that you create advisable in the list of subjects, since it is not necessary to have books of a subject to have filed that subject in the list of subjects.

COLLECTIONS, CLASSIFICATIONS, GROUPS,  AUTHORS and EDITORIALS:

In this surroundings is everything what is related to the surrounding that you create advisable to have in the surrounding list, since it is not necessary to have books of one surrounding to have filed that surrounding in the surrounding list. Before registering a book, you must register the surrounding in the “New surrounding” option, being located in the own surrounding. Also you can register a new surrounding in the window of “New book”, this way, if you are registering a book and the surrounding is not in the list, you can add it without needing leaving the process of book discharge.

   You cannot register a book without an author or authors. If you have in your library one or several anonymous titles, add a new author with the name ''Anonymous'' to the list of authors. If for some reason you do not know the author of a title (without the work is anonymous), add a new author with the name ''Not known '' to the list of authors. Remember that you have the possibility of modifying it later.

The editorial of a book can be without registering (Empty). However, if for some reason you do not know the editorial of a book, you can add a new editorial with the name ''Not known '' to the editorial list. Remember that you have the possibility of modifying it later.
