Map My Ancestors transforms your Family Tree into an interactive map that your friends and relations can view using the powerful mapping capabilities of Google Earth and Google Maps.
Map My Ancestors takes the hard work out of plotting your data by using a process called geocoding to automatically locate the places referenced in your family tree. We recognise that Geocoders are not perfect, particularly when dealing with historical place names, so Map My Ancestors allows you to easily amend any location.Mapping your Ancestors is made easy by breaking the process down into three simple steps

- Confirming where locations are.

- Is GEDCOM, CSV and KML/KMZ compatible
- Will export KML/KMZ files ready for sharing on Google Earth, Google Maps or Microsoft Live Search Maps
- Will export POI (Points Of Interest) files suitable for loading onto all the major Satallite Navigation systems. Tom Tom (OV2), Garmin (GPX), Navman (CSV) and Navigon (CSV) are included in the export options.
