Modify Access MDE 1.3

What do you do if your source MDB or ADP application file gets lost or damaged so badly it can not be recovered? Maybe all you need is to change the layout of a few reports.

What if the programmer that wrote the Access MDE application left the company and toke the source files with him? You want to change one buttons function and wrote the macro for the task but you cant get into the design view.
For big changes somebody will have to rewrite or reverse engineer the MDE or ADE file, but for smaller changes this program is the right solution.

Modify Access MDE is a useful program which enables you to unlock the design of MS Access MDE and ADE files allowing you to modify the forms and reports, add new ones, copy the forms/reports design to another Access application and change the way the application works by changing expressions, macros and event handling.

The advantages over rewriting the whole application are significant. The compiled code will work the same as before, so you cant make mistakes like you could during the rewrite. The cost or rewriting and/or reversing the MDE application is much bigger then the price of this tool.

Modify Access MDE supports all MS Access MDE files (97, 2000, 2002 and 2003 file format) and ADE files (2000, 2002 and 2003 file format).
The VBA code can not be viewed, altered or added to.

The file must be unencrypted. If you need to unlock an encrypted MDE application, please consider decrypting it first, running Modify Access MDE and encrypting the re-locked application afterwards.
We did this on purpose, making it harder to misuse the product. Please dont use Modify Access MDE on applications that are not yours!
