Vu-Bar 4.0

A unique piece of software, provides an on-screen, slotted ruler. Vu-Bar is a unique piece of software, simple and small, that provides an on-screen, slotted ruler.
Useful with dyslexia, when the user skips lines or drops from one line to the next. This version allows the user to select the bar width, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of screen width and set the slot height to the required font size.
The idea behind Vu-Bar is quite simple. Some people find difficulty in following the line they are reading and there are physical rulers available with a slot cut in for just this purpose.
To use Vu-Bar, simply left click and drag the bar to the relevant position. You may also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move.
Right clicking on the bar enables the menu, from where users can alter the bar colour (colours play a major part in some peoples reading strategies) or exit the software.
This menu also allows the user to set the width of the bar to 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent of the screen width and the height of the slot, depending on the font size in use.
