Taskbar Manager is a windows taskbar and desktop management utility. Using Taskbar Manager, visibility and ordering of tabs on Windows taskbar is fully under your control. We can also schedule shutdown, Logoff and restart of the system at specified times.

Many times we see taskbar cluttered with windows. If we are interested in working only with a couple of applications, it becomes an annoying experience because we cannot find them easily as their tab size on the taskbar has reduced and their titles are not fully visible. Also we dont want to close other application windows to make room for important ones. This is where Taskbar Manager comes into picture. Using Taskbar Manager you can hide application windows without actually terminating them. They just become invisible but come back again as and when you instruct Taskbar Manager to do so. You can also reorder the application windows tabs on the taskbar. This becomes useful when you want to arrange all related application windows together.

You can now use Taskbar Manager to manage Startup applications. Any such application can be enabled or disabled so as to make sure it runs or doesnt run when system starts up next time.

Taskbar Manager now has the ability to perform automatic shutdown of your computer system. You can schedule your computer to shut down, restart or log off at a specified time or after some specified time-period has expired. This feature is useful when you forget to shutdown your machine or go to sleep at night while watching a boring movie. You have more options when you use this facility than following procedure of clicking on Start --> Shutdown.
