Christina Milian (born Christine Flores on September 26, 1981) is an American actress and Grammy Award-nominated R and B singer, songwriter and dancer. She has released three studio albums and one compilation album. She has also had four solo top five singles (and also a top ten featuring credit single) in the UK as well as hits in the rest of Europe and North America. As an actress, Milian appeared in the 2003 film Love Dont Cost a Thing opposite Nick Cannon. Cuban-American Christina Milian was born in New Jersey but raised in Maryland, making her debut as an actress at a very young age while playing a role in a children-oriented musical, working as junior journalist for The Walt Disney Company, and making guest appearances on Sister Sister and Clueless, among other popular TV shows. In 2006, Milian appeared in the music video for Jessica Simpsons single A Public Affair, alongside Christina Applegate, Eva Longoria, Maria Menounos, Ryan Seacrest and Andy Dick.Milian became seriously involved in music after singing on Ja Rules Between Me and You, in addition to co-writing Jennifer Lopezs Play and P.Y.T.s Same Ol Same Ol while recording her self-titled R and B,pop debut album in 2001. Though the album fared far better in the U.K., AM to PM reached the Top 30 of the Hot 100 chart in the States. 2004s Its About Time, anchored by the Top Ten hit Dip It Low, was much more successful. Milians third album, So Amazin, helmed almost entirely by Cool and Dre, was released in 2006.
