Click-N-Type is an on-screen virtual keyboard designed for anyone with a disability that prevents him or her from typing on a physical computer keyboard.
As long as the person can control a mouse, trackball or other pointing device, he or she can send keystrokes to virtually any Windows application or DOS application that can run within a window.
There are other virtual keyboards around but youll find Click-N-Type the easiest to use for getting text into those uncooperative places like browser URL "Address:" fields, Email "To:" addresses, Email "Subject:" fields
Try them all. Youll see they all work fine while typing into Notepad or WordPad, but when you attempt to do some real work, with all but the expensive ones, youll get really annoyed really fast. Click-N-Type was designed with ease of use foremost in mind

Enhancements:
- Installation is Vista Friendly - No special actions or any form of Compatibility Mode are required for Click-N-Type, or any of its Add-ons, to be installed on Vista.
- They will automatically request Elevated Permission to be Installed or uninstalled.
- Click-N-Type is designed to run on Vista from "Standard User" or "Administrator" accounts. - No form of Compatibility Mode is ever required. No special privileges are required to use Click-N-Type.
- No folder ever needs to be modified to give any user special access to it.
- Administrative utilities that affect the "Click-N-Type experience" of other users, will ask the Vista User Account Control (UAC) to request Elevation of Privileges automatically.
- HTML Help - Vista no longer comes packaged with WinHelp. Click-N-Type now uses a new Help system that eliminates the need for you to download and install the separate Vista WinHelp package from Microsoft.
- Stays On-Top of Vista Sidebar - Click-N-Type cannot be hidden by the Vista Sidebar if "Always On Top" is set.
- Users no longer need to be Administrators. - Once installed, any User account may now run Click-N-Type and use its Add-ons with full access to all functionality.
- Each User maintains his/her own Word Prediction list, and Commonly Used Word list.
- The basic Word List is still installed by anyone with enough Privileges. From then on, users maintain their personal copies. People upgrading from V3.02 will start with their current Word Prediction list and then each user will build from, or delete from that list.
- Each User maintains his/her personal preference of Language Pack Configurations. - One user may choose to type using a German keyboard configuration, while another works in French.
- Each user has his/her own Macro Snapshot files. - Macro Snapshot sets, that are saved and reloaded by the Click-N-Type user, are now specific to each user and not visible to anyone else.
- Highlighted Macro Keys - Some people found it difficult to remember what keys they put Macros on. Now, keys that contain macro text are highlighted (normally green) whenever the "Identify keys..." option is set and the [Macro] button is depressed.
- The keys available on our QWERTY-long layout, and User Designed keyboards is now sticky. - Both keys are now handled the same as , and . They will stay down, so you can type useful things like to start Explorer, to show your Desktop, etc..
