A lightweight text-to-speech tool that speaks text copied to the clipboard
The ClipSpeak application wsa designed to be a lightweight text-to-speech tool that speaks text copied to the clipboard. It is intended to be as transparent as possible to the user, keeping user interface and interaction to a minimum.
At this moment it simply uses the voice selected in the control panels speech dialogue, but support is planned to allow voice selection in the program.
Main features:
- Speak text copied (or cut) to the clipboard.
- Stop ongoing speech with the right-control key.
- Select the synthesizer used.
- Small size (under 200kB!)
System requirements:
- .NET Framework 2.0
Enhancements:
- Stop speech with the right control key.
- You can now select the voice used by ClipSpeak.
