The Pada application was designed to be a simple text editor that can be used as a replacement for the default notepad.
Main features:
- GreenYellow on black transparent window by default
- no toolbar
- syntax highlighting, if you need it, replace TextBox control with RichTextBox which comes with syntax highlighting
- shortcut keys
- Ctrl-O , Open the file, open the pandora box
- Ctrl-W or Ctrl-S , save the file
- Ctrl-Q , quit? Yes
- Ctrl-X, Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, Ctrl-A , regular short cut keys to cut / copy / paste / select all
- Ctrl-Up, Ctrl-Down to increase / decrease the opacity of the window (less transparent, or more transparent)
- Alt-Up, Alt-Down to increate / decrease the font size
- Ctrl-Shift to cycle thru the preset background & foreground colors
- Ctrl-Alt to cycle thru the preset fonts
- Ctrl-Enter to switch wordwrap ON or OFF
- Ctrl-P to print the doc out,
