Shining Time is a free screensaver that will display the time on your desktop.
The history of creating this screen saver is very long. Many months ago I decided to create not just a shine screen saver but useful. The clock was an object of my contemplation. After some months Ive created the screen saver. Here it is.
The one of technical advantages is capability to save power during rendering of frames. It is achieved by a special usage of GPU and CPU (GPU is used only during drawing of the next frame and CPU usage is very small as 3D transformations are very simple and they depend only on timer). Look, use and enjoy!
