Online status indicator for PCs using a shared dialup internet connection. If you use Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP Internet Connection Sharing (or WinRoute or WinGate) to share a single internet connection then IsOnline shows the status of the connection in the bottom right hand corner of the display on all PCs sharing that connection. No more wondering whether you can just quickly pop online to check your email without causing another dialup connection or wondering whether the kids are online for instance or even whether the connection has gone active without your knowledge.

IsOnline consists of two parts: the client program and the server program. The install program will ask you which part you wish to install. The server program goes on the Internet Connection Sharing machine i.e. the machine which has the modem in it and provides the shared internet connection. The client program goes on all other machines on the network that need to see the status of the online connection.

Requirements: Windows 95 requires Winsock 2.0
