The server version consists of three main parts: the render sets, the job queue and the server itself.



Render sets

are the smallest unit RenderPal 2004 Server uses; a render set, generally spoken, contains various render settings
plus one or more source files (scenes). The job queue allows you to queue up these render sets. The queue not only offers simple "from top to bottom" rendering, but also has many exciting and advanced features like frame splitting and image slicing.

The server cannot be used to render; instead, it dispatches jobs to remote clients. These net jobs are based on render sets or entire job queues. All features can be used over the network.
