BizVNN service is a useful program which is composed of two components: BizVNN-Manager and BizVNN-Client.
BizVNN-Manager is to authenticate and control the access among users such that only the users belonging to the same company could connect to each other.
BizVNN-Client is software running on individuals PC (Windows 98 to Windows 2000/XP/2003). When the users are authenticated by the BizVNN-Manager, they will be able to establish direct TCP/IP connections with each other, no matter they are behind SOHO router/Firewalls or not.
Users do not need to set up their own BizVNN-Manager. It is hosted by VNN Networks, Inc. for all the subscribing customers.
Server-less and peer to peer VPN based on NAT traversal (RFC-3489). VNN is useful for the users in different branch offices to use their LAN based applications across the Internet without requiring them to reconfigure their routers or firewalls. They can run the applications just as they are on the local area network. When users with VNN software running on their PCs, based on VNNs virtualized LAN, the users will see a new subnet IP address on their PC. Each users PC will be given a fixed host name, in the form of userid.groupid.vnn, so they can run their applications based on this fixed hostname, no matter where the PC is and no matter what IP address the PC gets.
