About CCNP/CCDP BSCI Exam: Exam 642-801 BSCI replaces 640-603 Routing exam. BSCI (Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks) exam is one of four exams one need to take for obtaining CCNP certification. Other exams that count toward CCNP are: Switching, Remote Access, and Support exams. Note that these exams count towards CCDP certification as well. BSCI exam evaluates ones ability in designing and implementing complex routed WANs including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and IS-IS. BSCI replaces BSCN (Routing 640-603) exam.
