With a very friendly user interface and powerful features, Com makes an excellent replacement for Hyper-terminal. Com not only functions as a terminal emulator, but as a serial device controller as well. With macros and other features you can communicate directly with your serial hardware.

Another cool feature of Com is that it will act as a limited telnet server. This mode only allows one connect at a time (more to come!) but can accept incoming connects on any TCP/IP port. You can also transfer files right over the internet or your local network using its protocols.
