The CommonName Agent software provides users with various tools, each with the objective of enhancing the usability of the web.The core functionality allows users to navigate to web sites by entering a .CommonName. into their browser.s address bar, rather than a URL. Similarly, users can send emails by typing a .CommonName. into their email client.s address field, instead of an email address.CommonName also has many other features, including:- when visiting web sites be notified of related, alternative or international versions of the current site;- conduct searches from the browsers address bar using multiple search engines;- maintain bookmarks and web notes
