DDWidget Pro 1.4 is a useful tool that enables you to automate file transfers to multiple addresses with floating Drop Boxes.
Deliver files to as many recipients as you need by simply dragging and dropping them onto a floating desktop icon - no need to set up FTP, email and network transfers separately! DDWidget Pro ensures trouble-free delivery of anything you need to send from your computer to multiple addressees and by a variety of transports. Email attachments, FTP, and local area network transfers are supported, including SSL, all at the same time.
Multi-Recipient File Transfers Made Easy. Deliver files to multiple recipients by simply dropping them onto a floating icon. DDWidget Pro makes it easy to send files to multiple addressees and by various means of network transport. A single drag-and-drop operation will fire up the delivery of files through email, over LANs and to FTP servers, all at the same time! DDWidget Pro supports both unsecured and SSL-protected connections, and ensures reliable delivery to thousands of servers.
Drop Boxes. Simply dragging and dropping files to a Drop Box launches a transfer. Drop Boxes are floating icons atop the desktop, waiting for files to be dropped on them to initiate a transfer immediately. You can create as many Drop Boxes as you like, all with different settings and recipients. It is easy to specify your own email subject, SMTP server and list of recipients for each outgoing email.
Delivery Statistics. You sure don't want a document to be lost or undelivered during the transfer. And if that happens, you definitely want to know about it. DDWidget Pro provides comprehensive log files for each delivery session with detailed delivery stats. Remote network administrators can receive the logs by email automatically.
Multiple Protocols. DDWidget Pro reliably delivers files as email attachments, FTP and local area network transfers. You can specify your own subjects, SMTP servers and FTP server settings unique to each Drop Box.
Safety Filters. Concerned about safety and security of your network? DDWidget Pro supports highly customizable lists of file filters, allowing you to specify file extensions to allow or exclude from file transfers. It is easy to permit only a few approved types of files to be sent or received. Alternatively, you can also block certain types such as executable and script files. You can also allow or disallow file transfers based on the size or date of each file.
Profile Support. DDWidget supports separate profiles containing FTP and email account settings as well as file filters unique to each profile.
