EMS SQL Query for DB2 3.2 offers an effective tool which helps you to build SQL queries to IBM DB2 databases. Visual building as well as direct editing of a query text is available. User-friendly graphical interface allows you to connect to databases, select tables and fields for a query, set the selection criteria and many more. You can work with several queries at once, edit queries and view the execution results in several modes and perform any other operations you may need in your work with database queries.

Enhancements:

  • Unicode data support is implemented (InterBase/Firebird, DB2).
  • The Favourites tab is added to ensure fast access to Favorite Queries.
  • The Optimize Goal option is added (Oracle).
  • The utility now requests re-connection when the connection to a database is lost (InterBase).
  • Added the “Show default schema” option which allows you to avoid specifying objects names when it is not necessary (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2).
  • Visual building of the FROM statement subqueries is now possible.
  • User-defined aggregate functions are now available in the Aggregate drop-down list in Query Builder (PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
  • Some other small bugfixes and improvements.

  • 300-megahertz (MHz) or higher Pentium II-compatible processor; 600-MHz or faster processor recommended
  • Microsoft Windows NT4 with SP4 or later, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Windows Vista
  • 64 MB of RAM or more; 128 MB or more recommended
  • 20MB of available HD space for program installation
  • Super VGA (800x600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor; Super VGA (1024x768) or higher-resolution recommended
  • Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
  • DB2 Run-Time/Administrative Client 8.0 or higher
