enKountr for Facebook 1.0

enKountr is an application that allows you to "enKountr" other users of your existing social networks. You can use enKountr for Facebook to discover other Facebook users (when they are also using enKountr) that happen to be physically near you.

The "enKountr" could happen anywhere, coffee shops, bars, libraries, etc. Essentially, enKountr can be your personal "radar" that searches for other users, as well as a "broadcaster" that declares your presence, no matter where you go!

Here are some of the things you can do with enKountr:

* Automatically broadcast your presence, while keep your exact location hidden.
* Learn about other users by viewing their online profile.
* Immediate online chat with nearby users.
* Ability to select who you can enKountr and who can enKountr you (registered version only).

enKountr senses the presence of other users using the existing hardware capacity (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi) of your computing device.

When another user is found nearby, enKountr will notify you. You can also learn more about the users personality, interests and background based on his/her Facebook profile, Flickr photos, etc. You can even try to start an online chat with the user.
