A simple, fun and memorable way to organize all of your favorites Favoritestown allows you to store and access not only your internet favorites but also your frequently used PC files and programs.
Favoritestown uses a simple real world analogy to store the links - the buildings in a town - so that you will never again forget where to find them.
You can save and launch all of your favorites in exactly the same way and with a single click of your mouse.
Favoritestown is a program download. After installing it on your PC, each time you log on it will display a picture of Favoritestown on your desktop. You can enter any of the buildings in your town just by clicking on it. Within the buildings you can store links to and then access all of your favorite PC files and internet sites.
How to use
Move your mouse pointer over the building interior.
In any area of the screen where the "hand" shows you can place a link to a program, file or folder on your PC or to an internet site. You can place a link by right clicking on your mouse. You will see the options:
- Add Link to Website
- Add Link to Folder
- Add Link to File
- Add Link to Program
- Clear Link
- Help (this explains how you use the options above)
All you have to do is choose the appropriate option from the drop down menu and left click on it. You will be directed to the relevant form to fill in which will add your link when completed.
