Bored with TV? FlashTube.TV might be the answer for your alternate visual entertainment. FlashTubeTV is similar to browsing your TV Cable channels and recording the shows on them, except the goal of FlashTubeTV is to allow you to browse your favorite Internet Video Channels (websites) and record (rip) the Videos you like automatically or by selection as you watch them.

When you run the FlashTubeTV program on your computer it will pull up the Channels page on its supporting website, FlashTube.TV. where you can Watch & Rip your Favorite Videos from your Favorite sites.

FlashTubeTV is a shareware program (try it and if you like it get a License to use it). Like your TV cable or Satellite TV Service provider, FlashTube.TV is a provider of your Internet Channels (links to video sites) that carry Videos and that are compatable with FlashTubeTV.

Things to Come.

Currently FlashTubeTV supports the Adobe Flash FLV video format found on most sites like YahooVideo.com, MySpace.com, RedTube.com, etc. An upgrade is already in work to make FlashTubeTV work with just about any type of Video website where movies are streamed and cannot be directly recorded. Plans are to let users share their videos directly through FlashTubeTV that they find on sites. New videos of popular sites will also be added to cut back jumping from site to site to see whats new.

FlashTubeTV currently requires the use of Internet Explorer 5.0, and Adobe Flash 9 or greater.
