Internet Lock 5.2.1

Internet Lock 5.2.1 is considered as an access control and password protection software for your Internet programs, which enables to deny or password protect any program and connection from accessing the Internet.

Internet Lock works with the "Rules" mode: you can add one or more rules to control programs and internet connections. A rule normally has such format: [Allow/Deny/Password Protect] [Program] on [Port]. Internet Lock allow you to fully control the access to the internet for each program and each port, it also supports schedule feature.

For example: the most use rule [Password Protect] [Any Program] on Port [80] will password protect all the web browsers included Internet Explorer, Firefox, AOL etc. This is because that all the web browsers will use port 80 to access internet. Internet Lock supports to protect port range as "[Allow/Deny/Password Protect] [Program] on [Start Port] to [End Port]" since version 4.0.

1. Block internet connections & programs.
   • Internet Lock supports to protect all internet programs including, but not limited to:
   • • Web browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox and so on.
     • Email clients: Outlook, Outlook Express...
     • FTP programs.
     • MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger etc.
     • Any other internet programs.
2. Password protect internet programs
   • You can also let Internet Lock to password protect internet programs, to give them the opportunity to ask for the passwords when they want to connect to internet.
3. Protect any kind of internet program.
   • You protected the special TCP port of an internet service, you will protect all the internet programs which will use that internet service. This way, protecting a special TCP port will protect a bunch of internet programs.
4. Block or password protect certain web sites.
   • You can let Internet Lock to prevent users from accessing certain domains or IP addresses.
5. Limit users access to certain web sites only.
   • As Internet Lock supports to block or password protect internet programs on certain web sites, it also supports to limit users access to only the web sites you specified.
6. You fully control the internet access.
   • You can let Internet Lock to block all internet connections on your computer, but "Fully Control" means you can control each internet program and TCP port:
   • • You can allow any ones of the internet programs, or block any ones of them.
     • You can let a program to ask for password when it connects to internet, or simply block it from accessing internet.
     • You can protect some programs on certain web site, but allow them on other web sites.
     • You can allow an internet program to access internet from 20:00 to 22:00 but block the same program after 22:00.
     • You can allow the Outlook to receive emails but block it from sending emails.
     • You can block all programs from accessing the whole internet, but allow them to access your web site only.
7. It's easy to get started.
   • With the "Internet Lock Wizard", you can easily configure the Internet Lock for normal uses, such as "Password protect all web browsers", or "Limit computer to access only specified domains" etc.
8. Use internet time for schedule options.
   • Internet Lock supports schedule options. Normally if you protected a program or connection, it will always be protected. With schedule options, you can protect a program/connection daily, weekly, monthly, or at any time period of your choice.
