KaZaA Media Desktop 3.0

KaZaA Media Desktop is a peer-to-peer file sharing application allowing you to search, organize, download and play media files.
It has a search engine that lets you search by categories, artist, etc. Files are downloaded from several sources simultaneously, and resumed if broken.
Main features:
- Up to 15 Search Mores: You can now ‘Search More’ up to 15 times. This means you can access up to 3,000 results per search. Each ‘Search More’ displays up to an additional 200 search results.
- Search Agent: Searching for a file? Get Search Agent on the case to perform repeated searches every 30 minutes over a 24 hour period.
- Multiple simultaneous searches: Searching is now much faster and more efficient. Run up to 24 concurrent searches.
- Multiple search results tabs: Each search you perform is displayed in a new window. This means that your search results won’t be overwritten by each new search you perform.
- ‘Quick’ and ‘Advanced’ search tabs: ‘Search’ view allows both quick and advanced searches. Use the advanced search to obtain more accurate results in less time.
- Web search: Use Kazaa to search the web.

- Kazaa Media Desktop (KMD) - this is the main application that lets you search for, download and share files.
- TopSearch - this displays quality, digitally rights managed files (marked with Gold Icons) in search results. Powered by Altnet.
- Altnet Peer Points Manager – this is a rewards application for sharing files marked with Gold Icons. Includes My Search Tool bar, Joltid P2P Networking & Altnet Peer Points Components.
- BullGuard P2P - BullGuard P2P provides virus protection when using Kazaa Media Desktop.
- Advertising - delivered by Cydoor and the GAIN Network.
- PerfectNav - Provides alternative websearch results when browsing.
