This means changing the SMTP server settings in your email client every time you switch connections.
The much easier and efficient alternative? Run your own outgoing mail server. With Mail Express Professional, this is not nearly as difficult as it sounds. Install the utility, change your outgoing mail server to "127.0.0.1" (once!) and use email like you did before. Mail Express Professional accepts the mails you send, and if you are connected delivers them directly to the recipient bypassing any other mail server.
LAN user support
The Mail Express Professional which is installed in your computer not only can be used by yourself, but also can be used by all other computers which are in your LAN network. Mail Express Professional can be used as a public SMTP server of a group or small business. For other computers, they only need to do is changing the outgoing email server (SMTP) setting of their email client software to the IP address of your computer that Mail Express Professional running in.

SSL/TLS Support - Mail Express Professional supports SSL security connection to protect your email. If you added other email service, such as your ISPs or companys SMTP servers (e.g. the SMTP server of Google Mail/GMail, to get more information about how to set Gmail SMTP server in Mail Express Professional, click here), or the SMTP server of our Across-Mail Service, etc., into the Delivery Engine List of Mail Express Professional, and the SMTP servers support SSL security, when you send email to these servers in Mail Express Professional, you can turn on the SSL setting, then your email and all transferring data, include your username and password, will be encrypted.
CRAM-MD5 Support - Mail Express Professional supports different authentication protocols, such as AUTH LOGIN, AUTH PLAIN and AUTH CRAM-MD5. The CRAM-MD5 authentication will encrypt your password information with MD5 encrpytion arithmetic, it will protect your account information effectively.
Multi-Format Signature support: Make your email official and commercial
Mail Express Professional supports add signature in your email. You can add both plain text and HTML signature. In HTML signature, you can add image or Macromedia FLASH Animation. We also provide a tool "Signature Creator for Mail Express Series" for you to make signature, it is a freeware. You can use Signature Maker to make your image signature or business ecard.
Stat bar
There is an useful stat bar in Mail Express Professional, you can place it anywhere of your desktop and hide the main window, the stat bar will tell you the status of Mail Express Professional.
