Mavis is a peer-to-peer (P2P) anonymous proxy server sharing program. Mavis is a proxy server and a client at the same time, allowing the proxy client on your computer to connect to other peers proxy server, and at the same time allowing other peers client to connect to you. Each peer runs an instance of the Mavis program to create the Mavis P2P proxy sharing network. When you want to browse a web site, your HTTP(S) requests are forwarded to your peers computer, hiding your computers identifying information and making your internet activity untraceable.
