Metis written To help you find the competitive intelligence weight of a web server.
Metis is written in Java and is composed of 2 packages:
- The web spider engine : the faust.sacha.web java package, a package that handles the web spidering process, collects and stores the information in memory.
- The data analysis part : Metis org.idehamster.metis java package, a package that reads the data collected by the spider and generate a report.
If you get OutOfMemory errors, it means that the site you are scanning is quite big and you need to grow the heap size by using the -Xms option.
