Mister PiX helps you to find pictures on the internet and in newsgroups. All images are organized in thumbnail archives and can be displayed as slide-shows or in view-mode with zoom feature and other functionality. Mister PiX is also able to post single pictures or complete series to newsgroups.The main features are: WWW-Meta-SearchEnter your keyword(s) like "Bart Simpson" or "Claudia Schiffer" and let Mister PiX search the internet using configurable search-engines. Minimum image size settings help to exclude banners and other unwanted graphics.WWW-ScanLet Mister PiX parse URLs (complete websites) for you and download all images matching your criteria. Decide how deep Mister PiX should scan, whether he should include links to other sites and let him ask you for usernames and passwords when hitting member-sites; or let him ignore these.News-ReaderMister PiX also downloads pictures from your favourite newsgroups. Multiple servers are supported!Picture-GalleryAll pictures are thumbnailed in their directory (this includes existing images as well). From here you can view the images, delete or move them to other directories (using drag&drop), start slide-shows or (new!) post them to newsgroups.Several additional functions like zooming, list of excluded sites (URLs that will be ignored on scans) and many options help you to get exactly what you want!--------------------------------------------------Mister PiX finds pictures on the internet by keywords. Search for "Titanic" and youll receive the pictures (including the one from the movie). All images will be downloaded and stored in explorer-like thumbnail archives to provide convenient handling and organization (Explorer-style with drag & drop, renaming of single files or complete serieses(!), copy, move, etc.). Several options allow to specify the minimum images size (to ignore banners, buttons etc.) or to skip slow websites. The additional URL-Scan feature parses complete websites for pictures with or without links to other sites. Also included is a News-Reader with similar functionality. Of course, Mister PiX is able to post pictures to newsgroups, including index generation. The viewer has zoom- and slide-show-functions, plus imaging tools for brightness-, contrast- or gamma-corrections, color adjustment and filters like "sharpen", "smoothen", "blur" etc. Comes with complete install/uninstall and help files.
