MP3Mystic is a personal, easy to install, no fuss web server, specifically designed to stream MP3 music files to any web browser. This project was created in November of 2000, and first went public in December of that year.

MP3Mystic allows you to quickly and easily put up a personal web server to stream your personal music collection to anywhere on the internet/intranet.

You can use it to listen to your home MP3 collection from work, or on a smaller scale, listen to your home MP3 collection from a different room.
MP3Mystic also allows you to share music with friends, family, etc. (Only music you have the legal right to distribute)

MP3Mystic is very easy to set up. With only 4 required settings, you can have your server up within minutes of downloading. But, MP3Mystic also supports optional advanced features, like IP blocking, password protection, and page customization.

The base version of MP3Mystic is free. This version allows one person to listen to (or download) one file at a time. The commercial version allows an unlimited (limited only by bandwidth and machine performance) number of people to grab an unlimited number of songs. It also allows for customization, and runs much quicker for large music libraries.
