Newsparrot 4.01 description
Imports Open Server addresses from websites which supply these addresses. NewsParrot then enables A search for a specific newsgroup on a list of Open servers producinga list of servers with the group, its details, speed, the number of articles held in the newsgroup and whether it accepts non-member postings. These results can be saved either as .txtfiles for your personal records or as .html for inclusion in a web site On selecting a specific newsgroup of interestNewsParrot will instruct your default news reader to connect direct to the requested server and to begin importing the selected newsgroups article headers. As NewsParrot provides access to many different news-servers the majority of the 100,000 groups become available, and the of quantityof articles available in each group is increased. NewsParrot is an excellent companion to your newsreader, greatly extending the speed and access to free newsgroups.
