OOF-Admin allows you to easily manage the out of office assistant settings of your Microsoft Exchange/Outlook users. No more changing password, create mail profiles only to turn on the out of office assistant the user forgot. OOF-Admin does the job for you. OOF-Admin is a "must have" for every Microsoft Exchange server administrator!
An Exchange / Outlook user gets ill or cannot handle the mail inbox for other reasons. As Admin, you now have to switch on the Out of Office Assistant and create a forward rule for all incoming mail of this user.
Now you have to get permission to the Exchange user account (maybe you will reset the users password), create a mail profile, connect to Exchange server with this profile, switch on Out of Office Assistant and create a new forward rule. When the user gets back, he will contact you for a new password.
This is a terrible procedure. Beneath the time you will spend doing this, it is not legal, because you will have access to all mails and files of the user without its prior permission. Unfortunately, Microsoft Exchange does not provide any mechanism to do this, therefore OOF-Admin was created.
