PowerFolder 3.1.5 provides you with a great tool that can be used to synchronize, share, backup and access files. PowerFolder connects computers and allows to exchange all kind of data, which you want to sync or share between multiple computers.
It automatically detects new or changed files and keeps all your computers in sync. All transfers are encypted and downloads from multiple sources are supported, also Powerfolder is only transferring the changed part of a file.

Major Features:
1. No limitations:
PowerFolder has no limitations in size or number of managed files or folders. There are also no limitations in transfers or in the number of members of a folder. You get free updates during your license period.
2. Maximum security: Encrypted transfers
Encryption (AES) and identity management (RSA) are the security features of PowerFolder Pro.
This offers a maximum protection from unauthorized access to your data (similar to SSL). When transferring data over the internet this is highly recommended.
Identity management with public/private key mechanism (RSA) provides a secure mutal identification of you and your friends.
Of course you can always setup PowerFolder Pro to communicate with our Basic version!
3. Works over Internet, LAN or in Intranets
PowerFolder automatically detects other computers in LAN. On the Internet PowerFolder uses peer-to-peer technology to discover users/computers you exchange files with.
With it's built in authentication mechanism PowerFolder ensures that your data is kept private. PowerFolder NEVER transfers files to anyone, who has not received an invitation file containing a unique secrect access key (1024 bit).
4. 5 GB Online Storage included
PowerFolder Pro Home comes with 5GB Online storage space.
This optional service makes your valuable data always available and backed up. Simply point to our web login to access your data via web browser.
5. Multi-source downloads
PowerFolder give the possibility to download a single file from multiple sources, and continue downloads from other clients which have the same completed file. With this functionality you can get your files faster and handle bigger files better.
6. Delta-transfer copies only the changed file parts
PowerFolder is reliable and fast through delta-transfer technology similar to rsync. Only changed parts of the files get transferred instead of the whole file. This saves a lot time and traffic.
In addition multiple checksums are built to ensure that the files reach the destination in the original state.
7. High Priority Support
PowerFolder Pro users get support with highest priority: As soon as you get in contact we will help you to solve your problem in a fast, efficient and personal way.
8. Silently runs as system service
This feature enables PowerFolder Pro to run as windows system service. PowerFolder Pro then silently runs in background.
Very useful when using PowerFolder as file server, e.g. in combination with the mini webserver or if you want to hide the user inferface.

9. Accessible everywhere via mini webserver
Wherever you are - at work, in an internet cafe, on a business trip or on holiday - just open a browser and point to your PowerFolder webinterface.
Your data is always there when you need it!
You don't longer need to install PowerFolder to access your date on a remote computer. The access is provided by a mini-built-in webserver.
Of course the webinterface is password protected to ensure that your data is always protected.
10. Filelist CSV writer
The CSV writer creates a CSV file listing the files of a PowerFolder sorted by last modification date.
Easily discover new or changed files without using the PowerFolder user interface (e.g. running as system service).
11. Private peer-to-peer networking
PowerFolder connects to other users over an independent peer-to-peer network. No connection to central server or service is required!
The grant access to your managed folder simply send an invitation file to another user. This file contains a unique secret access key to ensure that you data is kept private
12. Built-in Recycle bin
Accidentally deleted files can be easily restored from the built-in recycle bin. Before an file is locally removed PowerFolder moves into it's own recycle bin to make sure, it can be recovered.
