With its SecureCollect technology, InTrust allows you to automate the secure collection of event logs. The ability to schedule the collection reduces your workload and allows the collection to occur during the evening, lowering daytime network utilization. And with InTrusts optional agents, you can filter the collection lowering the amount of data that is sent and encrypt the data before it is sent increasing security.

InTrust utilizes a unique, two-tiered storage architecture known as StoreMore. The first tier of StoreMore is known as the repository which offers unparalleled long-term compression over storing the same amount of event data in other products databases. The second tier of StoreMore is the database that allows for advanced analysis and reporting. Most installations initially collect the data to the repository and then move subsets of the data to the database when needed. This unparalleled storage architecture gives you better historical insight into your network than was previously possible.

InTrusts FlexReport technology allow you to create and distribute the information everyone needs to support their auditing needs. With pre-defined and custom reports, you can be sure to provide the exact information that is required. You can read the reports online, create .PDFs for emailing, or post reports to an intranet or to SharePoint Portal Server allowing users to help themselves to the information they need.

InTrust improves security by alerting you in real-time to unusual user and administrator activity, such as attempts to access files during off hours, multiple failed logon attempts followed by a successful log on, and other business critical security events. Additionally, InTrust alerts you to unusual system activity, helping you ensure that you servers are not being compromised. Offering an added layer of flexibility, alerts can also be sent directly to you by e-mail or third-party monitoring applications.
