When you need to FTP a file what do you use? WS-FTP?BulletProof FTP? Maybe CuteFTP? What about perhaps Internet Explorer? Ever usedyour Web browser to upload files? I know, it sounds about as rational as usingMicrosoft Word to read your e-mail, but it can be done and quite well with thehelp of SendToWeb. One program to both browse the Web and also upload files foryou. Sweat. You may have used Microsofts Internet Explorer to uploadfiles in the past, most likely in a situation such as one of those online printservices where you upload digital pictures and they make prints, mugs, and allthat other sort of stuff. You use a form on the site\s Web page and select thefile from your hard drive and it transfers the files from your computer to theirservers. SendToWeb is much different and vastly more powerful, plus its simplefor even novice users to pick up and work with immediately. Makingextensive use of Windows right click context menus you can just select any filefrom within Windows Explorer, the Find Files dialogue box, your desktop, oranywhere else on your hard drive and click on it. From the resulting menu choose"STW Web Upload" and it will be wisked away to the FTP server of your choice. Nomessing around with logging into a site or loading up a seperate FTP client,just browse and upload at your leisure. When you run across a time whena basic file upload to a predetermined site isnt enough (you want to browse aremote site, etc.) then SendToWeb has included a decent stand along FTP clientthat supports all the old standbys like drag and drop file transfers andmultiple server support (for transferring files from multiple servers or severaldifferent files from the same server). SendToWebs strength isdefinitely the ease of use factor in being able to launch files directly fromIE.
