Server Uptime Monitor is a useful desktop application which can monitor multiple URLs/Web servers/sites/ IP deceives. Notify, if any of URL/server/IP is not functioning, through e-mail/ mobile alerts. Application runs in background and checks each URL from multiple geographical locations. Most Web-based monitoring services have servers at multiple locations around the world, which check a URL simultaneously.

Since this is a desktop based application running locally on the user s computer, to simulate multiple checks, there will be a provision of using proxy servers located at various parts of the world. Lists of free proxies are easily available on the Internet and selecting them and entering them into the application is very easy.
