Surf Canyon for Firefox 2.0.4 is a neat addition to your Firefox browser. It is designed as a tiny browser extension that is installed in the user's browser. The client-side application communicates with a centralized server where the relevancy algorithms are hosted and maintained. 

Once installed, when users go to Google, Yahoo!, MSN Live Search, Lexis Web, or Craigslist and enter a search, they'll see Surf Canyon's bull's eyes next to the search results. Clicking on one, or on a result, will trigger the technology to make "instantaneous relevancy" calculations in order to present recommended search results, which are dug out from subsequent pages of the result set.

By using real-time behavior signals to disambiguate queries, Surf Canyon enables users to more quickly and easily discover relevant information that might otherwise have remained buried in the result set, significantly accelerating the search process.
