SwitchIP Professional offers an easy and efficient way to manage and maintain your TCP/IP network settings. It takes the hassle away from manually entering network settings each and every time you hook up to a different network. Its particularly useful for home-office users who may be switching from cable modem or satellite, to office LAN dial-up, to home network. You get a detailed view of the current connection settings and can examine or edit Hosts and Services files. Both multiple connection profiles and multiple adapter types are supported. Switching between them simply requires making the choice and selecting the Apply button. Most changes, however, will force an operating system restart to put them into effect. A Registry backup option is provided, and backup of key boot files is recommended before routinely switching IP settings with the product or otherwise.
