Syslog Watcher is a high-performance and easy-to-use syslog server for Windows
Syslog server gathers all syslog messages sent from different sources and consolidate them for analysis, auditing and advanced troubleshooting.
Syslog protocol is supported by all network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, storages, modems, wireless devices, Unix hosts, etc...), so Syslog Watcher is compatible with devices from all major manufacturers (Cisco, Nortel, Juniper, Avaya, 3Com, HP, etc...).
In additions, interesting characteristics are: hex-view, customable filtering and storing, exporting and logging to text files. The most important features are intelligent parser of messages content and integration with Syslog Watcher Vendor Pack. A level of message interpretation supplied by these technologies essentially improves analysis of multitudes of SYSLOG messages.
Modern GUI style and many visual possibilities such as using different colors depending on severity are providing perfect appearance.

- Personal Edition can collect messages only from one source. The source will be selected according to the first source.

Enhancements:
- Email Alerts
- In this version we added email alerts. Alert mechanism allows to identify the most important syslog messages and immediately inform about them by e-mail. This also helps to reduce the system administrators reaction time to critical incidents in the network.
- Alerts generating depends on the list of conditions which can be configured in the way you need. In addition you can specify e-mail template in appropriate way, which allows to get all the necessary information and recognize them in e-mail client.
