URL Exploreris an application designed to help you research and analyze Web Pages.
Main features:
- Obtain a quick snap shot summary of the site. This includes details such as domain ownership data, IP address data, search engine link popularity, Alexa? rank, etc. Helps you obtain the overall visibility and value of the site. Use it to check your own site and those of your competitors.
- Perform drill-through page analysis. While exploring a page, you can right click on a link and then explore the web page corresponding to that link. This is a very powerful feature that allows you to quickly research web pages. Drill through link analysis is possible even for external links on a page.
- Explore keyword distribution of each page. URL Explorer will extract and display all the keywords and double word phrases along with their counts in a clean table. You can also configure the software to display the keyword distribution and the link data (link text as well as the link URL) simultaneously in the top and bottom panels.
- Find more relevant keywords to target using the built in keyword analyzer and using drill through analysis. You can even easily analyze other websites related to yours (including your competitors) and then find keywords you may have unknowingly ignored.
- Use the keyword pad to store extra keywords you find during analysis. You can move keywords into the keyword pad and these keywords are always available to you from within the software. You can also copy keywords out of the keyword pad.
- Find relevant keyword categories for your keywords. Keyword categories are important for submitting your sites to directories. It also helps you get a good perspective regarding your target keywords.
- Check out the competition. URL Explorer is a fabulous tool for researching your competition. Find their search engine link popularity, Alexa rank and the keyword distribution of the web pages.
- URL Explorer has a built in browser that will allow you to browse to competing sites. Once you reach a competing site that you may want to check out, use the Analyze This Site toolbar button (small tool icon).
- Save all the information you collect during the drill through analysis. You can reload the entire analysis data from the saved document and continue.
- URL Explorer is a very powerful online research tool for researching your competition and then storing all the data you collected.
- Create a link report of your website. The link report contains the link text and the corresponding URLs for different pages that have been analyzed.
- The software also makes it easy for to check the raw HTML page text for the currently loaded page, contents of the web site robots.txt, raw whois data for the domain and the corresponding IP address, etc. All these information is automatically retrieved and made available.
