Video DownloadHelper 4.9.8 is designed to be a free Firefox extension which is capable of downloading and converting videos from many sites with minimum effort. Install the extension ! Using DownloadHelper, you can easily save videos from most of the popular video sites. (Click here for lists of supported sites).
It is also possible to capture all the images from a gallery in a single operation. Note that DownloadHelper does not break any real protection implemented on the sites. It gives easier access to available content that will be downloaded by your browser anyway. With some exceptions, downloaded videos must be kept on your disk for personal use and are not to be shown on other websites.
Enhancements:
- Added YouTube WebM formats as per bug #398 request: To enable those formats, go to DownloadHelper preferences, section Capture, tab YouTube. For each variant you want to have available, select the corresponding entry in the list and click Enable.
- Fixed bug #381: No in-page widget in YouTube https pages.
- Fixed bug #393: History window does not sort items.
- Fixed bug #384: Cannot change size threshold detection.
- Fixed bug #401: SmartNamer console error message.
- Made add-on compatible up to Aurora (Firefox 10).
- Added Hebrew and Lithuanian locales and major update for the 27 others.
