VisLogic Patch-Magic 3.0 Build 3025 is designed as a fully equipped patch management solution that brings windows update functionality for Windows systems and Office products. Patch-Magic knows what to deploy.

Patches are installation packages that the software producer provides. They are supposed to fix program errors or close security leaks. After a quick network scan Patch-Magic presents a detailed overview over all network PCs including the individual actual patch state. In an instance you see what patches are installed on each computer and furthermore those that are missing. 

Major Features:

  1. Using Patch-Magic you minimize the time and effort to download patches and install them to your computers.
  2. You can watch and monitor the remote installation process for each device completely including the results.
  3. This patch process can also be automated using the integrated time scheduler. Via mouse click within the patch knowledge base you receive quick news about background information for every patch.
  4. You can deploy Service Packs, security related patches and/or additional features like DirectX, Internet Explorer or Media Player.
  5. At least once per month on Microsoft´s "patch-day" you receive an automated patch data base update via internet. The update includes all information about recently published installation packages for Office and operating systems.
  6. Integrate Anti Malware modules
    • Patch-Magic features an interface to integrate user defined Anti Virus or Anti Malware solutions that usually run on single PCs.
    • With Patch-Magic you can centrally use freeware anti malware/anti virus modules in the whole network.
Enhancements:
  • A new release, because some anti virus killers heuristic caused false alarms with a component of build 3016.
