Visual Importer Professional 7.7.2.3 offers users an ETL automation tool which automates the process of loading data into any database. It enables the user to design Import, Export and SQL scripts, add them to the package and schedule it for execution on regular basis. All objects are stored in the repository. Supported repository types include MS Access (default repository), Oracle, MS SQL Server, Interbase, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

Visual Importer Professional is designed to automate database loading process. Typical usage of it would be download files from FTP Server, load them into the database, run stored procedure or Sql script and send email to adminstrator once package is completed. Unlike Oracle SQL loader, BCP,  DTS or SSIS Visual Importer Professional can also add new and update old records based on primary key.

Every package execution is logged. In case of errors, Visual Importer writes a detailed message into the log and writes a record into the rejected records file. The Enterprise version includes execution agent which can be run as a Windows service.
