WAPro 1.0

WAPro was designed to be a plug-in for Web Automator. It is created by Antelle.Net, Web Automator author, and contains powerful tools for content extraction, data manipulation, etc.
Main features:
- E-mail support (POP3 and SMTP)
Web Automator can connect to the mail server for sending and receiving your e-mail. This can be used for sites that verify users e-mail during the registration.
- Visual content extractor (with using XPath expressions)
You load a page inside Web Automator (like in a browser), select the information you want with a mouse, and Web Automator will create an XPath expression for for it. You can test and change it if you want.
- Google PR check
Google has a web service for checking PR (pagerank) of the page (by its url). Web Automator will call this service and show you the PR of the page specified by you.
- Database connections (MySql, Microsoft SQL Server, Access)
WAPro has an abitily for connectint to databases with different providers (MySql, Microsoft SQL Server, Access, etc.). It will put the data you need to the table you want. For example, you can save the content of Web site pages, or their urls and titles.
- Data export to Excel files
WAPro also can store the data into an Microsoft Excel sheet. Its very convenient, flexible and easy to use if you dont want to deal with databases.
- Writing to your own format data files (like CSV)
Writine data to CSV files is even more simple. You can open CSV files created by Web Automator with OpenOffice, Excel and another table viewers. You also can use them under Unix. This feature is good if you are planning to use the data extracted by Web Automator in applications under another operating systems.
- .NET code execution
Provides extended support for .NET programmers (you can write your own code for processing Web pages content). You also can use your own .NET libraries for compiling and execution.
- Script execution
Administrators often have a set of Windows scripts (VBScript and JScript). You can run those scripts from within Web Automator.
- Web site crawling
Its a typical task of Web content extraction (data extraction). Web Automator will load pages from the site, find links on them and load the linked pages (that are from one site).
- Multi-threaded execution
Web Automator can execute its tasks in parallel (multi-threaded) mode. This is extremely powerful ability for you if you have a fast Internet connection.
